How can I give to the work at Emmanuel?

Christian giving is a response to God's wonderful kindness to us. The Bible encourages us to consider prayerfully giving regularly to the work of the church.

We are grateful for any donation, but do not want visitors to feel under any obligation to give.

Donations can made to Emmanuel Church by a number of different ways, including now by text message. Simply text EMM 3 to 70085 to donate £3.

You can donate between £1 to £20 by altering the number after 'EMM' – e.g. EMM 5 is £5.

Texts cost the amount you are donating plus one standard rate message. 5% is deducted from the donation to cover the provider's fees. By texting you'll opt in to hear more about the parish's work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you'd like to give £3 but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text EMMNOINFO 3 to 70085.

You can increase the value of your giving if you are a UK taxpayer through Gift Aid. This costs nothing but allows us to claim back 25p for every £1 donated. Simply reply to the follow-up text if giving by text message. In the future we will also be able to accept online donations (with details to follow).

How do I find out more about the Christian faith?

This autumn, we're running Life Explored, a series of seven sessions including short films, and a chance to discuss the question: what is the best gift God could give you?

You'd be very welcome - nothing is assumed of those taking part. It's an opportunity to find out more about the central beliefs of the Christian faith.

It starts on Thursday 8th October at 8pm on Zoom - contact us if you'd like us to send you a link.
